A note on requests

Simple questions about devices featured on this site — happy to help.

For authenticity checks, I can share a quick, photo-based opinion. Requests that require measurement, extensive cross-checking, or a large number of parts may be difficult to accommodate. If so, I’ll tell you plainly.

About SPICE models

My SPICE models are still a work in progress. The measurement setup is being improved, and full validation against real hardware behavior is not complete yet.

Some areas remain especially difficult — for example, parameters like RB, RBM, and TR, and certain device families (notably germanium). Public release is still some way off.

Please note: I am unable to provide individual SPICE models by email at this stage.

Response time

I maintain this archive alongside a full-time engineering position, so replies may take a few days. I read every message and will do my best to respond.

I am a native Japanese speaker, but English communication is very welcome. I may use translation tools to ensure accuracy, but the technical content will always be my own.
